When I first came to Dr. Grobes I was in so much pain I could barely walk. But the pain wasn't just in my feet, it was shooting up my leg too. Being a school teacher I am on my feet pretty much all day. So I didn't know what was going on. Dr. Grobes was so attentive and asked questions to really get to the root of the problem. He knew exactly what was wrong and exactly how to fix it. And I'm glad to say I am literally pain free since getting my custom orthotics. He suggested the best type of shoe as well and I can truly feel the difference. The office staff is always so professional and pleasant they all truly make you feel right at home!

My daughter was complaining while on vacation about an ingrown toenail. In the matter of minutes I was able to come across Dr.Grobes’ office. Everyone in the office was so unbelievably kind and welcoming - in the matter of one appointment my daughters pain was gone. Stepped on metal that needed to be removed surgically. Dr was open on a sat morning thankfully even though it was quite a drive. Didn’t know what to expect. My son was experiencing foot pain during his athletic participation and so we made an appointment with Foot Pain Doctors of Jacksonville.  The entire experience was very easy-going and affordable.  After only two meetings with Dr. Grobes, we are now on the right track to resolve the issue that was causing the discomfort.  Dr. Grobes was extremely knowledgeable, very patient, compassionate, and completely thorough.  Dr. Grobes has an extensive history with athletics and foot issues so that was a very beneficial factor in gaining my son's full attention as well.  Thank you Dr. Grobes for your service and help!

I have been a patient of Dr. Grobes for about four years. My first visit concerned my plantar faceitis. He gave me cortisone shots in both heals and the pain was gone in a couple of days. He sold me the best foam shoe inserts I have ever had and I use them in all my shoes. He has treated my toe fungus and it has cleared up. Dr. Grobes is very pleasant and knowledgeable when it comes to your feet. The office manager, Miss Brenda, is very nice and helpful. Yesterday my plantar faceitis came back because I wore shoes without my foam inserts. They worked me in that morning and treated me and the pain is almost completely gone. The office is very clean and has a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Grobes for any foot problems you may have.

Dr. Grobes is amazing! He is personable, highly knowledgeable, and compassionate. He took the time to explain what was ailing me and why. He also recommended a non-invasive course of action (cream and foot inserts). The office staff is also very warm, kind and professional. And the office itself is beautiful and immaculate. Not that I wish foot and/or ankle pain on anyone, but if you do have a foot ailment I highly suggest you go here for a caring podiatrist.

Following a recommendation from a friend, I called Dr. Rodney Grobes' office on May 6, 2025, for a first appointment. I was in a lot of sharp pain from a toe issue. His office staff was just fantastic and got me in right away. They were warm and friendly and made me feel welcome. Dr. Grobes is an incredible podiatrist! After listening carefully to my history and symptoms, he was very reassuring and promised that when I left, my pain would be gone. It was, and for the first time in nearly three weeks (why did I wait so long to call?), I felt great. Plus, I have a follow-up plan to keep it that way from now on. On a scale of 0-10, I would give Dr. Grobes and his staff a 15 or 20 at least. At 81, I'm not easily impressed, but I was today.
